Michiel Borstlap released two very successfull solo albums. His latest solo work, BLUE (Songs from father to daughter) a collecton of songs dedicated to his daughter Blue Aegea, who was born in the summer of 2011 in Turkey.

International greats such as Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Pat Metheny, Gino Vannelli and Bill Bruford played and recorded his compositions.
