24th International Ankara Jazz Festival, brings Mirko Signorile Trio Trip together with the audience…
"Trio Trip" was released in 2018 to record the album of the same name produced by Auand Records.
The affinity and musical understanding of the three musicians is immediate. The album was born directly in the studio during two days of a very hot August. The predominantly acoustic sound, is enriched, in the arrangement of some songs (Indigo Garden, The Blue Ritual, etc.) of a synthetizer. Each of the compositions has a strong melodic character. The arrangements are the result of overall choices that focus particularly on groove and bass-drum lines. Language is modern, it encroaches on genres, it modulates sound visions that look at pop music, rock, film music.
The concert for the Ankara festival will see the Trio Trip propose some of the most representative songs of the album. In addition, on the occasion of the centenary of Federico Fellini's birth, the Trio will interpret some themes taken precisely from his films, films that we all remember and that have made the whole world fall in love with a certain way of making cinema.
