Considered as the best Turkish guitarist of his generation, Bilal Karaman and his band MANOUCHE A LA TURCA pay tribute to the great Django and moor gypsy jazz on the banks of the Bosphorus. An original work, an amazing fusion between gypsy jazz school and Turkish music.
Open to encounters and sharing, MANOUCHE A LA TURCA combines in his concerts and recordings many virtuosos of the Istanbul scene.
Founded in 2010, Manouche A La Turca has signed a first eponymous album in 2018, followed by a second volume in 2019. The third album, Manouche A La Turca Vol. 3 Live, released in March 2020 and brings together live records in France and Istanbul with guest artists, as well as new creations to discover. We apperciate precious support of Turmaks.
