Alper Yılmaz Project is going to perform a repertoire that blends compositions of Alper Yılmaz and jazz, classical music, electro-acoustic and experimental music tunes of musicians mastering in different genres in Turkish American Association.
Alper Yılmaz Project is a group that was formed by New York's leading musicians for the solo album project of Alper Yılmaz. The album Clashes was released in the USA in summer 2007. It received very positive critics from the magazines Jazz Times, Jazziz and Bass Player and it was a 'Best Album' nominee in New York Village Voice. In 2008 Clashes was released in Turkey as well. His second album Over the Clouds also received excellent critics from Jazz Times, All About Jazz and Bass Musician Magazine and was selected was one of the 'Best Albums of 2010'.
