Two important names of jazz, two Grammy winners will be take part of this special concert. Well known jazz veteran Ernie Watts will accompany with his saxophone and Alan Broadbent will conduct this spectecular project. We appreciate the support of the Embassy of United States in Ankara, and Başkent University for the Orchestra.

One of the most famous jazz pianists Kerem Görsev was born in 1961. Görsev has been touring many countries with his self-titled group since 2008. He is very effective on promoting jazz music for rising generation. The group has released two albums named Diversion and Therapy, still continues to tour and put out records. Kerem Görsev Trio will be at the festival with Ferit Odman on drums and Kağan Yıldız on contrabass. Trio will meet with Ernie Watts who is an American jazz, rhythm and blues musician. He plays saxophone and flute. Watts might be best known for his work with Charlie Haden's Quartet West and his two Grammy Awards as an instrumentalist. He has also toured with The Rolling Stones, joining them on their 1981 tour and also appearing with them in the 1982 film Let's Spend the Night Together. He was granted 7th Independent Music Awards with Analog Man released in 2008.Two Grammy winner Alan Broadbent will also accompany them on the stage. Accomplished jazz pianist, arranger and composer is well known for his work with artists such as Charlie Haden, Woody Herman, Chet Baker, Irene Kral, Sheila Jordan, Warne Marsh, Bud Shank, and many others. Broadbent studied piano and music theory in his country, but in 1966 moved to the US to study at the Berklee College of Music. He also conducted London Philarmonia Orchestra at demonstration concert of Kerem Görsev's album Therapy.
