İstanbul Oriental Ensemble has been founded in Turkey by Burhan Öçal, who is a renowned percussionist and multi-instrumentalist. The project aims to mix Balkan music with Turkish music while protecting special features and taste of each. Istanbul Oriental Ensemble is consisting of two percussions, a clarinet, a kanun, an oud and a violin. In this lovely closing concert of the festival we invite the audience to rediscover world music with Burhan Öçal & Istanbul Oriental Ensemble.
