Award winning vocalist Meltem Ege is joined by her experienced musician friends to breathe new life into beloved jazz standards. Cansu Nihal Akarsu, awarded in this year's Nardis Jazz Vocal Competition with a concert in the 17th International Ankara Jazz Festival, is accompanying them. We appreciate the support of Armada.

Meltem Ege is a musician who shone like a star among the new generation jazz musicians in a short time and proved herself as a vocal instructor. She crowned the success that she has achieved at Nardis Jazz Club Vocal Competition by graduating as summa cum laude student from Berklee College of Music at which she has studied with a merit-based scholarship. Besides, she was one of the young musicians that Ankara Jazz Society has awarded scholarship. Meltem Ege continues performing in several national and international festivals, continues the concerts of Songbook, the album that she has recorded with Önder Focan, and lectures teaching jazz vocal classes as chair of the Contemporary Singing Department of Başkent University Conservatory.

Nihal Cansu Akarsu, the award winning vocal of this year's Nardis Jazz Club Vocal Competition, which young vocals setting their passionately hearts for jazz wait for excitedly, was born in İsanbul in 1992. She entered İzmir Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory Clarinet Department in 2008. She became one of the 10 finalists of 2013 and 2014 Nardis Jazz Club Vocal Competitions and she gave concerts in the 20th and 21st İzmir European Jazz Festival with Open Jazz Orchestra.
