Şenay Lambaoğlu has conquered the hearts of her audience with her album 'İçimde Aşk Var,' composed of songs written by her. She is taking her place among the strong woman vocals of the 17th International Ankara Jazz Festival with a concert, at which she is going to share songs from her new project 'Zarf Tümleci' as well. We appreciate the support of Samm's Bistro.
Şenay Lambaoğlu began her professional music career while she was studying at Pera Academy of Fine Arts. In these years she worked with many jazz legends like Neşet Ruacan, Aydın Esen, Yaz Baltacıgil and Nilüfer Verdi. She continued her education at Yıldız Technical University Facuty of Art and Design, Department of Music. In the 2000s, she contributed to the recordings of İlyas Mirsayev's jazz album in Kiev, Ukraine.
At the festival concert, on piano a pianist who played in countless national and international festivals, Uraz Kıvaner; on saxophone one of the most important jazz musicians of Turkey, Yahya Dai; on contrabass a master whom the festival audience knows well, Volkan Hürsever; and on drums a talented musician whose lusty rhythms are followed for years, Ekin Cengizkan is accompanying Şenay Lambaoğlu.
