She is an independent voice, a contemporary woman poet in Turkish popular music. We are hosting the music of Jehan Barbur, in which jazz sounds are also trimmed like a lace, in this year's festival. With this free open air concert, we will also celebrate 19 May the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. We appreciate the support of Armada.

Jehan Barbur is one of the highly adored artists in recent years with her three albums; Uyan (2009), Hayat (2010) and Sarı (2012), which are produced by her including the lyrics and the music. She has a deep impact on her audience with her unique and independent music, the grace and peacefulness of her voice. Jehan Barbur and her group keep close contact with their audience through a busy traffic of concerts and live performances. Meanwhile, she contributed to the albums of Zuhal Olcay, Gürol Ağırbaş, Ezginin Günlüğü and Feridun Düzağaç with her vocals. She has been granted awards with her film, TV series and theatre sound tracks. Her covers of Bülent Ortaçgil songs are highly admired as well.
